My enthusiasm for the healing benefits of qigong called me to study with masters in the fields of qigong and tai chi. I am a graduate of the Integral Institute of Qigong and Tai Chi Easy (IIQTC) teacher training with Roger Jahnke a Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York. In my teaching I draw upon and array of studies and techniquest to offer the best choice for my students — including various forms and principles from Master Zhongxian Wu shamanic qigong, Jingui Golden Shield/Bell qigong, Healing Tao USA, Master Li Jun Feng Sheng Zhen Wuji Yuan Gong, and Jeffrey Yuen. A natural progression led me to get my Simplified Yang Tai Chi certification with Master Wen Ching Wu.
My background and experience as a yoga and meditation instructor, and owner of a dance studio for 18 years, enrich my teaching. Other qualifications include Royal Academy of Dancing Registered Teacher, Nia Fitness Technique studies, Padmacahaya Institute Open Heart and Reiki Tummo courses. In the local Asheville area I have taught recently at the YMCA Asheville, Daoist Traditions Acupuncture College, and other healing arts centers.
